Im not saying AG shouldnt cover titles like Sam & Max 2 or BS3 but if they do then shouldn't they really cover pure adventures like Glass Rose too? and perhaps shouldnt they have covered shadow of memories when it came out (or at least put links in their news section)?
Uh, feisar? It's almost easier to believe you're DELIBERATELY staying ignorant rather than actually reading what anyone's saying.

There is still that bias in the adventure gaming community against 3D, you have to remember how powerful that is. In fact, this prejudice extends beyond to other gaming communities. In one forum I frequent someone asked about the validity of an adventure game using a 3D engine and so many people responded by saying that 3D should stay in the first person shooter genre and not interfere with the adventure genre. Mind you, this is a forum is for first person shooter gamers. My response to that thread was that 3D shooters have been borrowing elements from adventures for the last several years, why in hell deny the adventure game the chance to diversify itself as well without necessarily turning into an action game?

Honestly feisar, you're kinda pissing me off here. You criticize Adventure Gamers for not reviewing two or three adventure games that appeared on the consoles, and that are probably pure adventure games (or very close to that). I'm not even going to respond to your criticism as you yourself fail to identify Broken Sword 3 as an adventure game. How can I take you seriously if you keep insisting that it's a platform game?

I think we all need to relax and realize that some people are just going to be stubborn about this. then we can take comfort in the fact that when the game ships and is
a) Clearly an adventure
and
b) Awesome
we can all point at them and laugh and go "ha ha, I told you so!"
