Daedalic has posted this picture

on their FB page, and the rumors already spread it's about The Whispered World 2.

However, the incoming Chains of Satinav has also one particular location that is quite similar to TWW:

BTW, "Das schwarze Auge" is pretty much Germany's most established pen-and-paper roleplaying franchise (started in 1984), and actually there were a couple of (very good) RPGs released in the 90s, under the name of "Realms of Arkania", namely:

Realms of Arkania: Blade of Destiny
Realms of Arkania 2: Star Trail
Realms of Arkania 3: Shadows Over Riva

And of course they were followed up a few years ago by:

Drakensang
Drakensang: The River of Time

Looks fantastic... By the way, what's happening with the English releases of Daedalic games? Deponia's still not out yet and we know hardly anything in regard to Chains of Satinav.

Great ambience, similar to The Whispered World, great music... the only downside is the "theatre puppets" animation of the characters.

Hmm yeah I can see what you mean... but I'm sure I can get used to that really fast and it'll be an awesome game.

I've always been satisfied with Daedalic's games, but after watching that trailer. It looks as if doing realistic/painterly art directions just makes there style generally weird. The animations and voice acting are forgivable in more cartoony/less realistic enviornments, but here, all the attempts for a bit of realism with horrible voice acting and animation? Just really awkward. Give me desponia!
