Another complete guess and I'm almost 100% certain I'm wrong but there's a movie with the same name

and we have a winner. the game's not as bad as some of the reviews make out, though the controls and camera angles are really awful

I played COTLC on the Playstation in 1997. I thought it was an awesome game, and another rare instance of a pure adventure on a console. Bearing in mind there weren't as many adventures as there are now, it was pretty good for it's day.

O.K. My turn now, sorry I didn't play any games with memorable quotes in them recently so I'll just go for one of my fav AG sections of all time. Though hardly providing a tricky riddle

"The sea, it just swallowed him!"

This should take about say...a minute?

Second time someone guessed Grim Fandango, second time wrong.
Perhaps someone should post a quote from that game

i want to say monkey island either 1 or 2 or poss 3 as i first thought broken sword too but im my case bs3.

scrap that im thinking of a game that a friend has told me about something about a whale eating someone i think cant remember it was sooo long ago.

Pinocchio's adventure ... or something like that

I didn't even get started. Saw the movie very recently but didn't even look at the game 'till the quote came up.

The seas in MI are really cool but they don't swallow people
And really BS3, my favorite? That'd been way too easy

Jonah and the Whale? Moby Dick? Don't know if they made an AG out of either one of them. The game I'm thinking of has nothing to do with whales anyway

More like, something like it, only with a completely different title and story

Yep BS3's my fav(it's okay to faint if you feel like it) And BS4? What BS4? There is no BS4! Don't you ever dare say there is a BS4! (I'm still in denial)
Does that answer your questions?

Only about a couple hundred(or thousand)
It is definitely an addy though. (you mean an AG with that right?)

Perhaps, I can't really imagine the quote in other cercumstances than the ones in the game

Nope not SF2 and not SF1 either though you should definitely play that one. Way better than it's sequal. Then again, this coming from someone who liked BS3 better than 1 and 2...

Sure! The game's based on a number of works of fiction.

This should narrow it down considerably
