it is indeed. both quotes are from just talking to inanimate objects, which is one of the many things I love about the game. there's no generic "I can't do that" every action on every item seems to have a unique bit of dialogue, very often hilarious

NEXT QUOTE
Now here's one of my all-time favo(u)rites: Quote:
Just for the record - look what I kept in store and intended to ask next: That's why I've been playing it for two months now (still haven't finished). I'm enjoying the (numerous and hilarious) comments more than the actual gameplay .

indeed, I'm in the same boat. also a nice touch that you can use the pen on a lot of items to get some graffiti, sometimes just Edna's name but sometimes funny sketches. and the soggy paper cup... Edna's having fun just trashing the scenery at the moment, escape is for later

how did you get her to write on the walls? I just got her to leave sticky circles over the desk with the cup, draw all over it and smash it with the hammer then draw on boxes, gum machines etc
although we're really starting to veer off topic here so I'll throw a guess to your quote even though I've no idea. Innocent Until Caught?

Hmm maybe one of the Sam & Max games while they're in Bosco's shop?
