That little exchange is from Torin's Passage. (Sam and Max just happen to be the names of the two skunks that Torin encounters in Escarpa. Wasn't the naming deliberate? )

Here's the next sparkling exchange... I hope I quoted it correctly!

"Blah, blah, blah."
"Blah, blah, blah."

Discworld 1?

Edit: See! Look! LOL

P.S I haven't a clue what language this version's in - just in case somebody looks at it and thinks I can speak their language. BTW the blah blah blah parts are the same in the English version.

No, not Discworld, I'm afraid. Good guess though! (That looks like either the Czech or Slovak version of the game!)

The above exchange is overheard by the game's main character, if that helps.

Yep, right again Shany! That exchange is courtesy of Tony's two colleagues, busy ignoring him (when they're not insulting him, that is).

When I played the demo I listened to them for quite a while. I was wondering if they have more to say.

New quote!

"I like my office. It's warm in my office. It's quiet in my office."

Yep. Best quote in the game (at least the second part of it - "There are no homicidal gnomes or chainsaw wielding waitresses in my office")

Hm, I guess I should start giving hints
Ok this is a very recent game. The character saying this is not the main playable character, but he is quite important in the game.
If nobody guesses it with these hints I'll be giving a new quote
