I still haven't quite forgiven GOG for their childish prank last year, but Zork Grand Inquisitor is a must play! Do yourself a favor and get this great funny game. Haven't played a Zork game before? Doesn't matter, I guarantee you will laugh.

AG gave it 4.5 stars.

Another new release on GOG - Scratches - Director's Cut for $9.99.

I think that's a bit pricey to be honest considering it's been out for a few years now; far better games are only going for 5.99!

There's a summer sale on PSN EU until 3rd August. From what I've spotted there are 3 adventure games included in the sale:

Strong Bad’s Cool Game for Attractive People (was £11.99/€14.99 – now £6.29/€7.99)
Sam & Max’ The Devil’s Playhouse (was £19.99/€24.99 – now £9.99/€12.99)
Back to the Future: The Game (was £15.99/€19.99 – now £7.99/€9.99)

The Humble Indie Bundle is open for the next 10 days. You set the price you want to pay and you get:

Crayon Physics Deluxe
Cogs
VVVVVV
Hammerfight
And Yet It Moves

While VVVVVV and Hammerfight aren't adventure games, the other three are interesting puzzlers. Apart from that, you also get to set what portion of your donation goes to charity.

Lots of adventures super cheap in Gamersgate. The prices keep getting higher though. Bought Post Mortem with 0,30€ (yes, really) and Agon: The Lost Sword of Toledo for 2,40€.

Aaaand Post Mortem just went up to 5€.

Also considering AlternativA for 10€ but haven't bought it yet.

Also, the third edition of the Humble Indie Bundle is going on right now. For those unfamiliar with this, 6 games are bundled together and you can have them all in exchange for a donation to charity (which can be as low as $0.01, though I know none of the Adventure Gamers forum users would stoop so low

). As a special incentive, if you donate at least the amount of the average donation (which is currently ~$5), you can also download all the games in the second edition of the bundle.

There are some great games in these bundles, including Machinarium, Braid, and VVVVVV.

So, I would have to say, ignore my previous post and buy Machinarium with a donation to charity.
