Except when he focuses on the things he likes, or indeed on the entire games he likes, such as the aformentioned Orange Box and Thief reviews, and I'm sure there are more examples.

Of course he exaggerates, that's his chosen reviewing shtick and it helps differentiate him, along with the breathless delivery. Sometimes he exaggerates purely for comic effect, sure, but a lot of the time there's more than a grain of truth at the heart of the exaggeration.

And there are plenty of examples of him noting positives, even in games he overally dislikes or negatively reviews, so to say he "only focuses on the flaws" is demonstrably untrue.

(And no, I'm not a big fan of his either - I tend to only check out reviews of games I'm interested in, rather than checking in every week (or however often he does reviews).
