You cannot say any game is worse until you've heard The Watchmaker -- except maybe for Legacy: Dark Shadows.
100% agreed.

What do you mean by "the few bits there are"?

There is only voice acting in the introduction, and not throughout the rest of the game.

There's a full speech version and I highly recommend you to play it. I thought the voice acting was excellent, I guarantee you will change your mind about the voice acting.

Ah that does explain differences in opinion. I'll try to lay my hands on that one then

I'll only mention games that I finished. Some demos were worse than the worst I have mentioned below, but I think mentioning them is not fair since I did not play them for long enough.

Best puzzles overall in one game: Myst III: Exile
Worst puzzles overall in one game: Starship Titanic

Best single puzzle: The last puzzle in Myst III: Exile
Worst single puzzle: The puzzle that made the hovering piece of land come down in Yourney to the Center of the World.

(With puzzles I mean all additions to the game that somehow hinders your story development, either integrated into the story or otherwise. Examples of puzzle types are: logic puzzles, word puzzles, slider puzzles, mazes, inventory puzzles, etc)

Best utilization of action sequences: Dreamfall
Worst utilization of action sequences: All GK adventures

Best death scene(s): Talking to the NSA guy in one of the Tex Murphy games (I forgot which one).
Worst death scene(s): the stone in KQ I! It still makes me mad.

Best overall voice acting in one game: GK III
Worst overall voice acting in one game: Don't know

Best single voice actor in one game: Chris Jones in the last TM games.
Worst single voice actor in one game: Don't know.

Best translation of a foreign game: TLJ, Dutch version.
Worst translation of a foreign game: Don't know

Best end scene: Myst III
Worst end scene: Myst V

Best control scheme - game or studio: Uru
Worst control scheme - game or studio: Dreamfall

Best developed "object finding" in one game: Don't know
Worst developed "object finding" in one game (pixel hunting): Don't know

Best game on interaction with the game world: The last three TM games.
Worst game on interaction with the game world: Don't know.

I guess a whole lot of people also disagree on my mentioning of Dreamfall as having the best integration of action sequences

Personally I don't have a "favorite" in the "best integration of action sequences" category... I didn't mind the action sequences in Dreamfall at all though... Then again I didn't mind the action squences in gk2 and 3 either.
Gk1 on the other hand...

I generally don't have a problem with a little action sequence now and then if it's easy enough and not a tedious "save/restore" proccess....

Can I change my nickname in Jane Jensen Defender?

Seriously. I disagree with Tsa, but I'm not gonna bite him, unless he wants to say that the action sequences in Gabriel Knight are responsible for the death of adventure games!

That made me laugh! Only people who never play adventure games will keep saying adventure games are dead.

I think the action sequences in the GK games are annoying, and the final sequences in GKIII were just there to make the game that little bit longer. They had nothing to do with the story.

Psst, psst! Don't tell Keregioz, but

I'm not a fan of the last GK3 sequence as well. I like the final confrontation with Asmodeus, and the chess-board, but not the pit; not the pit at all
