I've just received my copy of Amber Journeys Beyond and already own Full Throttle. If any of those is chosen for a playthrough I'll join as well.

Just as Colpet said. It's much more fun to play together with someone. And one uses hints (no w/t at all) a lot less since two minds or more work so much better than one.

I vote for The Last Express - I've only played it once, a long time ago (about 8 years) and it left a very strong impression on me, so I'm dying to play it again.

Other than that, I have Full Throttle, and won't mind playing it again for the playthrough. I also never played Normality, and I actually have an original copy which I never even opened, so I guess it would be nice to have a good oppurtunity to play it for the first time.

The other games, I just don't have, so I can't play...

Wait a second, I have two more game suggestions:

1) Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - one of my favorite games, and perfect for splitting up into chunks that people can play and then talk about.

2) Callahan's Crosstime Saloon - this is one of the games I always want to finally play but just never get around to it.

i might be able to play along depending on the game. of those mentioned i only have paradise but it doesn't seem to get along with my computer. i installed it on one computer, bought a new one and installed it on my current system but the game (on the newer computer) was riddled with bugs and virtually unplayable. anyone else experience this with paradise?

as for amber, i've got a copy of it and would love to play it but can't get it to work on my system.

any other possibilities?

I'm excited to just play any game now! And if it's a game I don't own I'll be madly scrambling for it on eBay which I'm getting pretty good at winning bids. Not to mention that it's quite easy to get Adventure Games since not many people are into them! Sorry I'm just rambling now...

How do we make a final decision on which game we play? Should arrr_matey decide since they started up this thread? I'm so eager to start!!!

So far we have:

Full Throttle 8
Normality 2
Paradise 3
Amber 5 (inlcuding 2 "can't get it to work")
Last Express 3
Phoenix Att. 1
Callahan's 1

Come on, people vote!

I know I mentioned that I would play Last Express, but I'd also join an Amber and Paradise playthrough.

I wouldn't mind joining up with a playthrough of Full Throttle. Don't have any of the others apart from The Last Express but i did that not so long ago.

I have Full Throttle installed on my computer still I think. I played it for the first time a couple of months ago, but I'd be willing to play it again since it's so great.

I have a feeling that the game's been decided.

I lost (!!) my copy of Full Throttle, so though I would love to play it, I'm going to throw a vote for Last Express, if I can make it work with vista. A play through would be fun (though perhaps disastrous to my schoolwork)!

I'm in for Full Throttle, which seems to be the victor...

Do people need time to try and track down the game? When should we start?

I'm considering getting Amber: Journeys Beyond next. After reading the review for it here it looks like my kinda game. I wouldn't mind having a playthrough of that after Full Throttle.

Hey, I've been lurking this thread and since you've chosen Full Throttle (or atleast leaning that way) I thought I should remind you guys that it's been re-released in some places. This means it shouldn't be that hard to track down if you want to join in but don't have access to the game yet. It's available here and I remember seeing it in HMV often when I was in London too.

So, has it definitely been decided then? Any idea when we should start?

That sounds good to me. For any Australians looking for Full Throttle, Harvey Norman has it for $10...
