My excuse: until recently I didn't have broadband so couldn't try new stuff. So I only had games that were very cheap or given by friends. It's not my fault! Plus the tag lines and synopses NEVER interest me.

I've never played any Sierra games, or any modern games, except... Never finished discworld. Broken sword had a missing disk. Famous five didn't grab me. Monkey Island 4 was a little dull>> Sorry!

Still love Zak though I showed it tae 'e wee bairnes and 'ey completed 'em all aswell. Dey grow up so fast!!
OH YUM!
ouch!

edit: that last line was added by my daughter while I was distracted by a phone call.

PPS I'm really looking forward to the Lonely Seamonster fangame

Outside of the Monkey Island series (not sure why), nothing else comes to mind. I have played just about everything.

I grew up in the late 80's and my dad was a huge computer nut. So I got the chance to play a large portion of the classics in my formative and early teen years (pretty much every Sierra game, and a good portion of Cyan and LucasArts catalogs). I do have a few that I haven't played yet though, they would include (but not be limited to):

Day of the Tenticle
The Dig
Loom
Broken Sword 1 & 2
any of the Indiana Jones games

I've never played any of the Tex Murphy games, although the box art for Under a Killing Moon always was strangely compelling to me when I was a kid. I hear I'm missing out, so UaKM and PD have made my list of games I'll get to playing soon enough. Well, eventually, I hope.

must-have is relative, but I have to admit I've never played any of the monkey island games. at one point I was going to, despite the setting (couldn't care less about pirates and such), but lost interest once again before I could start the first one.

there are many more, but the mi series is the one I kinda regret skipping. and the gabriel knight games, though I didn't like the third one's demo (I tried it when the game was released), but the first two looks good. and I'd also like to play all those fmv adventures I didn't have the opportunity yet, not becuase they might be good, but because I love fmv in games

Let's see... I haven't played (to name a few):

Any Myst game
any Gabriel Knight game
any Sam & Max game
Day of the Tentacle
the Tex Murphy games (except Under a Killing Moon)
any D&D type fantasy game
the list goes on and on....

I've never played "Day of the Tentacle" either, nor any of the "Monkey Island" series - but I'd love to in the future! I also - and this is most embarrasing - have never played any of the Tex Murphy games....(how shameful is that!)

How could anyone not have played Day Of The Tentacle!?

I've just started the Dig and Fate Of Atlantis though. I also tried the demo of The Last Express and although I wasn't totally turned off of it, it seems pretty random. It thrust me into the game with no direction or any idea of what I was suppost to do. I walked around a bit and then ended up getting stabbed.
I'd rather get the full version someday.

I've traditionally been a console gamer--exclusively so in the 80s and most of the 90s--so I've missed all sorts of big games. On the plus side though, I've got lots of great games to go back to and play. I tell ya, GameTap was made for people like me; it's so awesome to be able to play all of these cool old games.

But in anycase, I've never played any Quest for Glory, Gabriel Knight, Monkey Island, Broken Sword or Tex Murphy games....heck, I could keep going forever. It's insane the number of classic games I still need to play.

But even I have played Day of the Tentacle.

Yeah, the demo takes place in the middle of the game, if I remember correctly. This is one of the games I ended up playing on GameTap and I absolutely loved it.

Define "everything"...

Third-person, dialogues, inventory-based puzzles only or everything?
Including the obscure and rare ones?
And last but never least: have you played Isabelle?

I haven't played any of the Mysts (only one world from the first).
I haven't played any of the Kyrandia-games.
I haven't finished any of the Simon the Sorcerer.
I have only played 1 and 6 of the Kings Quest-series.
I have not finished Loom.
I have not played Freddy Pharkas.
I have not played Dreamfall, even though I have the game in my shelf.

I never played Sanitarium, but I will try to get it.
To my defense, I have played an earlier title from the same developers called Veil of Darkness, and you better should, too!
It's wonderful.
Sadly, Dreamforge Intertainment disappeared in a puff of smoke, or in a similar way...

I tried Veil of Darkness (after I had played Sanitarium) and it seemed like a great game. Never finished it though and I borrowed it from a friend I haven't seen in almost 10 years now so I will probably never be able to play it again.
