Default Ankh Trailer #2

http://www.worthdownloading.com/down...d=1582&id=6068

Despite god-awful song it looks good. Was wondering.. are there any news on english release (demo maybe)? German version is out and it is getting very positive reviews.

In the developer interviews at adventure europe, Deck 13 said that the english version is 99,9% complete. But no word on release date.

I'm really looking forward to this. In fact, more and more. It's getting really positive reviews in Germany and it seems like fun.

No offense to any one here, but German gamers often enjoy games that North American gamers find less absorbing. So, while Ankh is being recieved well in Germany, it may not fare so well when it's released around the rest of the world.

Germans are weird.

After all isn't David Hasslehoff a huge singing star in Germany.

I think you're right. Adventure games are very popular in Germany.

No, he isn't.

But you are right, we *are* weird.

That is, unless I move to another country. In that case the degree of madness would lessen significantly.

Like Running Through Empty Woods For Hours On End 1-5 or, as people call it, the Deer Hunter series?

But that song is awesome! I can't see the video, I only see the song. But in the game, they dance to it. Do they do that in the video?

Ah, yes. Thank you.

I like the song. The dancing is longer in the actual game.

Can someone provide a non-Worthplaying link? About a year ago Worthplaying went from giving very good speeds to little old me in the UK to taking about ten minutes to start the download and then going at a snail's pace .

Hmm... Germany aren't a country who have a great reputation for their sense of humour. Judgement reserved till I play it.

Well, it wasn't sung clearly enough for me to really understand what they were on about, but the animation certainly looks good .

Actually, the germans were voted the most humourous/funny people in Europe, a few years back, much to the dismay of the British.

There's some great comedy around here. Stand-up Comedy is great with people like Michael Mittermeier (he also went on a tour through American clubs), then there used to be "Die Wochenshow" ("The Weekly Show" - sounds like a News magazine. It's humourous News. The best ever.), and many more (I am quite partial to "Genial Daneben" - "Genially off course". People send in questions [often weird ones. But always true things], and a group of comedians have to find the answer. If they don't manage that, the person who sent in the question gets money.). They're all quite funny, but don't really get exported.

EDIT: Ah, Helge Schneider. It's a half-taboo to say something against Helge Schneider.

So when will Disney sue BHV Software (or whoever develops Ankh)?

They're singing about Cairo.

Why should Disney sue BHV Software?
