This is a thread in witch we admire the rich artwork that is fetured in many of our favorite (and not so favorite) adventure games.

I'll start with Black Mirror:

-Marcus Gordon

-Mordred Gordon

-Lothar Gordon

...Feel free to post any screencaptures/screenshots/scans.

That is cool, is the artist credited specifically?

I like this, from TLJ, the borderhouse has such a cool mural, one of the things that made the place special:

GK3 was loaded with great paintings. One particular one I would like to have replicated (I cant find a shot) was a table with a bottle of wine, a rose and a skel ton.

All Still Life art is the best I've seen in an adventure game (see Melanie's post for a nice example).

I think they're from the Lovecraft Museum, a small add-on to the CD version of Shadow of the Comet.

And precisely what I wanted to post in the 'Adventure game scene game' thread if I got the chance...

Of course not. Serves me right for not finding anything in that thread and getting a turn to post faster.

And to go back on topic: I thought the 7th Guest and the 11th hour had quite a lot of interesting paintings. I'm afraid I have no screenshot from it to offer at the moment though (far from my CDs and couldn't find anything on the web).

Art™. Because art is comparable to a folder rather than a file, its definition is subjective. It is determined by individual fiat. It will be whatever you wish to put into its folder.

So, art...
