It's up to you if you want to post a new pic, Fantsie, but anyone who wants to guess game #2 can still do so.

(It wasn't so much the challenge of guessing game #1, it was almost too easy, more the fact that I happened to notice the similar paintings in two games! )

Well, here's the new picture. It's cropped a bit, and if it's too hard, I can post the whole screen. Although it shouldn't be.

(I was just playing a little bit of Outcry after installing it, and right at the beginning I saw the painting and thought, "Whoa, didn't I just see this in The Lost Crown?!" )

As for Fantsie's pic:
Dark Fall II: Lights Out, that was almost too easy as well. (Do I have to guess the time period too? )

, and again.

All right, I'll post another pic when I get home from work, which is what I should be doing right now!

Actually, SuperEdy can post a pic instead if he has one ready, since he guessed Outcry.

Trunkyo,
The figures in those two pictures made me think of Guinan.

Those funny-looking hats do remind me of her!

Well, to see (almost) the same painting in two different games isn't that unusual in itself, it was just a curious coincidence that I was playing both The Lost Crown and Outcry at the same time! Now, if I had played it much later, I probably wouldn't have even noticed the similarity! (Anyway, I've decided to put it aside until after I finish The Lost Crown and the ZGI replay. colpet is recommending it highly for the brain workout and profound ending!)

We now return you to the regularly scheduled AG scene game. Thank you.

IMO it's highly unusual. And the paintings are not the same either. Is there an original painting like that in real life?

Sorry to interrupt you, there's a new tournament in my site starting from Friday, May the 8th. Shany is sponsoring the event with 3 of her games
There will be a game for the winner, a game randomly chosen among places 2-4 (with a 33.3% probability of winning) and a game randomly chosen among places 5-14 (with a 10% probability of winning).
The winners will be able to choose from:
-Culpa Innata
-Secret Files: Tunguska
-Nibiru: Age of Secrets
-Echo: Secrets of the Lost Cavern
-Scratches
-Darkfall: Lights Out
-Safecracker: The Ultimate Puzzle Adventure
-Destination: Treasure Island
The tournament will last 7 weeks with 12 pictures per week, at least 6 of them will be from recent or famous games (the likes of Gabriel Knight, Monkey Island, Kyrandia, Myst...). All games were commercially released in English.
The themes will be kisses galore, excessive violence, fiendish puzzles, box art, useful items, famous people, cute animals, name that character, golden oldies + 3 mysterious details.
If you have any suggestion please let me know by PM.
