If it's the scene I think it is, that is ...

... then no, there isn't any animated cutscene for it. It's just another way to die in the game, as far as I'm concerned.

My first thought when I saw the image was Universe by Core Design Ltd., but that's probably just the colours. I never actually played that game for more than a few minutes yet.

Die Sage von Nietoom, maybe the most obscure game ever? Thanks for posting some screenshots in MobyGames (I could have never found it without them).

Not really, but probably close. You won't find any screenshots on the internet of the most obscure games!

OK, here are two very similar paintings from two different games. Can you identify either or both?

Game 1:

Game 2:

"The Lost Crown", silly!! Well, the first picture. You thought you could get one past me, the self proclaimed #1 fan?

Sorry Fantsie dear, but you're absolutely right! Painting #1 is from The Lost Crown. (I should've disqualified you from answering in the first place but that would've been a dead giveaway... almost as much as the black and white frame! Now guess my avatar! )

Umm...not sure about your avatar. Or the 2nd picture. Are we going to wait for an answer to the 2nd picture, or should I post one?
