Links to forgotten adventure goodies
This Thread is for not so well known adventure games, with never got so mutch attention, but still are quite good games, so in this thread you will put up links to games with didn´t get so mutch attention (to a gallery or so), but still are worth watch after.
I will put up some links to the games, but please this Thread are not for AGS games (if not an extreme beautyfull game) http://www.mobygames.com/game/dos/es...um/screenshots http://www.mobygames.com/game/dos/bu...le/screenshots http://www.mobygames.com/game/i-have...am/screenshots http://www.mobygames.com/game/dos/ig...ia/screenshots Last edited by Chrono Cross; 03-30-2011 at 02:42 PM. |

All AGS games are beautiful, so I'd have to list all of them.
But anyways, I have some really fond memories of that IGOR game you mentioned. And here are some of my most beloved unpopular games: http://www.mobygames.com/game/dreamweb http://www.mobygames.com/game/azraels-tear

I knew about "I don;t have a mouth and I must scream" but never played it, the other two I really never heard of!! PS> Maybe I missed the point of the thread? Maiac Mansion? day of the tentacle? these are very well known, and praised, games, no?

yes you have right about "Flight of the amazon queen", it´s well known, i maybe made a misstake there. so i re-edited the thread.
Yes Maniac Mansion and Day of the tentacle is wery known adventure game and is good games, but still well known. "I have no mouth and i must scream" is known, but still not so well known. It´s a pretty creepy game. |

Cool. I have heard of all these AG's but never played any.
Shame because they all look intriguing. 'Sanatarium' - looks like a good game. So does 'Igor' - whats it about? reminds me of INDY: FOA 'Delirium' - I nearly had a chance to play many years back. So I will have to play these soon as they all look pretty good. |

Maybe it's because of the platform and getting overshadowed by big names like Professor Layton on that, but I don't think Time Hollow got the general attention it deserved. Bit of a mind-twister to play but in a fun way.

Sorry, my mind got stuck on the "adventure goddies" part! Anyway, I changed the links. Will these do? |

Somehow I like the way the game's title rings in my ear.

Well, it rings funny in my ear since I saw a Woody Allen movie (one of my favo(u)rites, btw).
Do you remember Dr. Bernardo's Igor?
