Default Dead Mountaineer's Hotel: New website

Akella has opened a new website for the upcoming adventure Dead Mountaineer's Hotel. By exploring a hotel's room displayed on the page in flash (similar to Tunguska's promo website) you find hints and information about the game.

Judging by a quick look at the website (and the few screenshots available) the game will look absolutely delicious. Also, my obsession with novels by brothers Strugatzki makes me want to play the game even more.

This game has been hardly hyped so far, and is taking *ages* to develop, but I hope that, when it finally arrives, the graphics, the literary source material, and the gameplay (it is the one whose makers claim to be inspired by The Last Express, isn't it?) will make it a sleeper hit.

The people that make these websites really should get English-speaking people to help them out. Just look at those FAQs.

According to them, "the gameplay is based on the 'living world' concept", like The Last Express, so it's very hard to create this game. The scenarios are beautiful, with gorgeous rendering.

^ The in-game shots from the official site are nothing like the ones posted on this site.

So much work into the website, it really looks good - and that yibberish nonsense in the faq. Must be a computertranslation from russian to english. Do these developers never read adventuregame-fansites, and if they do, why don´t they learn from it. Bad translations and bad voiceacting are much written about and indeed bad things.

There must be a lot of highly qualified englishstudents in Russian universities eager for som extra income. It´s not question of money.

That website looks awesome! I haven't been following the progress of this game, but I will from now on.The 'reatimel-world' concept always captured my interest, that's why I enjoyed TLE so much. I'm curious how this game is going to play.

Nice website, I got stuck there for 30 minutes exploring everything, I even found some exclusive artwork pictures in a locked room in the basement... I will definately follow the progress of this game.
