Default Runaway - Is it REALLY that buggy, or is it just my PC

I just got Runaway, really liked it and bla-bla. I reached Chapter 2 and when I go talking to the female Doctor in the museum, the dialogue gets all buggy and when I talk with the janitor-looking guy downstairs the lines of the dialogue follow one another without me even choosing them. Oh, yeah, and when Brian tries to get coffee from the vending machine he says all the possible lines for this....

Please help me....

I didn't experience any problems when I played it.

Try cleaning your CD, by using a bit of water & a paper towel. If that doesn't work, make sure your Direct X is fine and/or get an upgraded version (I suggest you make sure you're on full sound accelleration).

If none of that works, trade in your disk for a replacement, because the problem likely lies there.

Default Runaway problems..

I had full instalation of the game (1.9 Gb) and I have problems in the chapter 2.. I don't know what to do...

Are they any patches?
Win. XP Pro, SP2.
AMD Sempron,
nVidia graphics.. but I don't think there is a hardware problem.. I think a problem of the game...? (?)

thank U!,

Evan.
