Still life 2 help

I am stuck in Still life 2. I need to trap the killer, but my problem is that my metal detector is gone. And it's not in any of the inventory places inside the house. I am at the box at fence, but can't do anything with it.
I need the keypad and bike wheel I think, but can'¨t find bike wheel without metal detector. No idea why it's gone.

Can anyone help me please? or perhaps someone has the saved game before Vic is going down the shack?

the detector is in the cells, look in vic's cell
