Hi all
I am new here. I am stuck in the kitchen with Martin(the cook) and Bruno(the novice). I am supposed to get Bruno to distract the cook by talking to him so I can get the soup. But it doesn't work. Every time I try to talk to Bruno I only say something like "You have to work hard to be a copyist." No matter what I do that is the only thing I say. I have done everything that I can see through some walkthroughs before I hit this spot so I am not sure what to do now.
Any thoughts? Thanks.

I have needed twice hints in that game and that was the first...I remember after solving it ,it seemed quite easy...

Try first to take the soup with the crock...and only then try to talk to Bruno...I think you must first get the refusal of the cook..
If it doesn't work you need to do something before to trigger it...

Unfortunately I have done the soup thing so I am thinking I am missing something before this but I can't firgure out what. I guess I will keep looking. Thanks again.

Have you done that ?
Eladio told you about the oregano and thyme,
Select the dialogue response with those herbs.
This impresses Martin. Leonardo was given the privilege to ask for snacks anytime...

Actually, I meant that I tried to get the soup from the pot. But I figured out what I missed: I had to show the translator in the library that book...Horitus whatever... then I could get the soup.
