In Memoriam Won't Play Please Help?

In Memoriam installed ok then I tried to play it. A message box appeared saying "a fatal error has occured". Then another dialogue box appears with this message "This application has requested the runtime to terminate in an unusual way". ontop of the dialogue box was "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime library". I'm a noob with this kind of technical problem would be so grateful for any help?

Do you have any toolbars installed (Google or Yahoo)? Try uninstalling those if you do. That's what I can think of for now.
