Default Help: Black Screen on Secrets of Da Vinci - Forbidden Manuscript

Hi everyone

I'm trying to get The Secrets of Da Vinci - The Forbidden Manuscript to run on Vista (Home Premium) - the install goes fine, but then it's just black screen with music in the background.

- I've tried with XP combatibility already and always running as admin.
-I don't have User Account Control on.
- I made sure all my drivers were up to date.
- Don't have any programs running, that's not needed.
- No Antivirus running
- No weird codecs or burning utilities installed.

System specs:
Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E6750 @ 2.66GHz P5KR
NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTS - 640MB
RAM 2GB
DirectX 10 - newest and updated

Has anyone gotten it to run?
Is there a patch somewhere, that makes it run in Vista?

Sorry to bump this, but I would really like for it work

AND I remember, when installing CD 2, it got all the way to the ending, and behind the little progress popup, I could see the screen for clicking the finish button - BUT the progress popup would NOT go away.
I had to close it, then I could click the Finish button.

I looked in the game folder and it looked as if all the files had been extracted and copied over to their folders....

Can any one tell which folders and files are supposed to be in the game folder?

Have you tried to roll back your video drivers to an earlier date ?
