Default Missing Since January - missing e-mail

I think I'm not getting my emails anymore. I haven't gotten one in awhile.

I just put up a firewall, but allowed the game access to the internet. I checked a walkthrough b/c I couldnt solve a puzzle and it says I need an email. Could my firewall be the culprit? The only other thing Ican think of is that there are fewer emails than In Memoriam?

I'm moving this to the Hints forum as you're likely to have more luck there.

A firewall is not likely to stop email from coming to a valid account. Check your junk mail folder, if you have one.

Default Got 'em

I don't know what happened, but I got all the missing emails today. They were in my regular folder.

I got a new virus/firewall program last night, but I doubt that's it. They were all waiting for me this morning, so I have 2 puzzles to solve today! Wonder what took them so long?

Just glad you're no longer stuck. Missing information you can't get any other way must be a bugger. One of the reasons I've not gone looking for this one.

I actually got a reply from tech support for Adventure Conpany. It said that aggressive virus programs and/or firewalls can keep games from accessing the internet properly and that may have caused my issue. I guess even allowing the game wasn't enough, so getting my new program did fix my problem.

Didn't fix my new problem, though, these puzzles are HARD! I love it :-)
