The first 20 mins after the action starts, you mean? Nothing much happens in the first 20 mins
Doom3 scared the living shit out of me. I stopped playing after a demon jumped from an empty "closet" that opened behind me. So stupid. |

Undying is great. Seeing as how your name is Shodan though, I'm surprised System Shock 2 didn't creep you out. I thought it was pretty freaky at times.

The suffering probably scared me more than Doom 3. Undying was pretty scary at first, but then I got used to it.

doom 3 on xbox is awesome, especially the special edition cause of the original dooms are added with it. i didn't think it was scary but i thought the atmosphere was great and one part - in a cavern like area then a room with a window ceiling - was quite spooky. this was because there were no monsters and it made you scared because you had to imagine what was happening. then a womans voice says "follow me" and you start to feel creeped out. that was the only part. it doesn't help that the game is well easy.

Honestly i think this game is pretty simple and not scary at all! Watching people play it i cant really understand how it is suppose to be as great as they say it is! I found it boring

well, if life was a game this wouldn't be it. however, it has some good elements. surely it's not all that bad?

Looks like we've got two new members. I guess the game scares me because of how much I get into games when I play. I put myself right in the position of the person i'm playing, and that makes it pretty damn scary.
So perhaps those who don't find scary games scary is because you view them from too much of an external point of view. |

by the time you are able to see what's going on in the very dark screen (even with the flashlight) the monster that takes a few shotgun shells to kill really isn't that scary. it's the moments when there are no monsters that really make the game scary. i still find Tresspasser scary, because of the realistic sound and scary dinosaurs. it's in broad daylight and it's a whole world scarier than anything i've ever played (except resi 2 back in da day)

Hahah shaddup! I don't actually scream. You'd be better off watching me play, because I jump and shoot my gun at nothing. I don't have xbox live at the moment, but I may soon. What live games do you have? |
