Default Yay for Doublefine!

W00t! My signed copy of Psychonauts, t-shirt and FREE DVD of CUTSCENES arrived today! Shame Customs slapped a charge on it, but WAHEY! I've been waiting a while for it, and it's HERE!

All wrapped in black and orange tissue paper too, and with free smiley from one of the staff on the invoice!

Signed by Tim Schafer - "this game is 100% motion capture free".

Now if me and my clan weren't so addicted to the BF2 demo... I'd actually play it!

BTW the DVD's beautifully done. I thought it would be thrown together, but it's not. Every single cutscene. GREAT!

Well, for some reason I felt rich (when I'm not) and needed cheering up. I ordered direct from Doublefine, and needed a new t-shirt anyway (good ones are expensive in the UK)... and seeing as I spent over a certain amount, they were giving away free DVD's of the cutscenes. It's bootylicious!

What, free DVD of cutscenes? Where can you get THAT? I'm going to the DF store right now.

I ordered it April 22 and mailed them three times. Once I even got 8 messages back in a row. That was probably just a mistake though.

I can't find the free DVD with cutscenes in the store anywhere. How may I obtain it?

I can't remember! Doesn't it still say on the frontpage? You have to spend a certain amount to get it, and even then there's only a limited supply. If it doesn't say anything about it anymore, then perhaps they've stopped the offer.

edit - *groans* c'mon, I can't believe you didn't read the front page. Try harder next time!

Just got my Double Fine booty today! I got the soundtrack, brown Whispering Rock Summer Camp T-Shirt, and signed Psychonauts poster -- he also wrote on it "You are a cold-blooded killer, but it takes all kinds to make a world."

Also got the free DVD, and apparently they gave me two stickers (Raz and 2HB) for free also, because my order was delayed. And here I was cursing the post office all this time because it took so long to get to me.

And the orange and black tissue paper wrapping filled me with glee, as well. Like opening Christmas presents on Halloween.

YAHEY! And stickers too? They're great. My brothers copy arrived in good time too! With a birthday message - "To Tom, Happy Birthday, from Ben and Tim (Schafer)". It's a worthwhile present to any computer geek, or yourself! Gotta love the wrapping paper too...

I'd buy an autographed Psychonauts, if someone would buy my two copies of Psychonauts first.
