Hello All,
I'm attempting to do some research on video game enthusiasts, any input you can offer is most welcome! |

Three years? I would consider a few months to be reasonable, but three years? Now that's a stretch. In fact, that reminds me of the Mourning incident.

I think you'd have to be pretty dumb to take a chance like that.

I wouldn't buy a game before it was released. If a game was sold mostly before it was released, then what would be stopping the makers from letting it be the buggiest, most boring and content-sparse piece of bloatware out there?
However, if you got to play the beta when you pre bought the game, even if only for limited amounts of time, and even if accounts all would get reset when the game would be released, then it would probably be a worthwhile option, for some. But then you wouldn't really be able to sell it 3 years in advance. |

The only time I would purchase it three years before is if it's a sequel to an MMORPG that I'm already enjoying... but in saying that I can't really see why I would need to purchase it three years before rather than preorder it three months before release.
