Lookin' for a fantasy themed RTS

I think it was the first one to feature 3d terrain. But its units were still 2d sprites. I think it had 2 sequels. .. and I think its name contained the word "blood". Rings a bell?

Hmm, I guess that could be it. The gameplay description seems to fit the bill, as I don't recall any base-building. But I thought it was an original property, or at least, don't think it had Warhammer in the title... Wish I could be more specific. The only vivid image I have of one of these games (I think part 2) are some (horned, I seem to recall) grey monsters who walked on 2 lion-like hind legs, attacking a village.

Oh yes. That's most definitely the one I was looking for. So these are called RTTs, huh! Dunno why I thought blood was in the title. Myth it is, then. Thanks!

I played through the second one, they're pretty fun to go through, although I had problems with the first one, namely in controlling formations :|
