Default Prey ripping off Geist? (vice versa apparently)

Geist, an exclusive Nintendo Gamecube game seems to be what Prey is getting its concept from. Just my thoughts.

I don't really see the connection, and I played Geist. Geist is all about possessing humans, dogs, objects, etc. You are a ghost basically. In Prey you don't possess anything. The only connection I see is the "spirit" thing, but it serves a different purpose in Prey.

Yeah I forgot about that, heh. Prey has been in development since 1996.

Well, of course. "Geist" is the German word for "ghost", after all.

(Actually one of the German words for "ghost". There's several others, including "Gespenst".)

I was gonna say that Prey was started before the Gamecube even came out, but I was beat to it.

Ooh, but that's a rip-off of table tennis! No, that's a rip-off of real tennis! No, it's a rip-off of the very first ball game! No, it's a rip-off of rock-throwing! Ha- top that!

Well, rock throwing is a rip-off of throwing in general, which is in turn a rip-off of the very first arm movement... and of movement in general... and thus of life.

So, basically, all games are just a rip-off of the very first atoms. Or something.

Before life started molecules used to join together into small paddle shapes and bounce atoms back and forward for fun.

Once they got bored they decided on life.

Okay, let's make this simple. You know that law of physics that says that no new energy can be created?

Another difference between Geist and Prey:

Geist is really, REALLY, bad.
