You could at least include a link:
http://www.gamespot.com/xbox/action/...reenindex.html

The game looks rather ugly so far. I don't know why they bothered to release these screenshots, they certainly don't get me interested. The water looks nice but the rest is horribly modelled and textured. Let's hope that the game doesn't stay this way...

No, that was a different game. The game you are thinking of is Republic Commando.

It looks like a N64 game.

Wow, these are some ugly screenshots! It wouldn't be so bad if it had outdated graphics, but these are just bad graphics, very sloppy renders... =/ it eludes me why any company would publish these as a representation of their game. Unless they wanted to lower expectation to make a "suprise hit"... but that's not the way to do it XD

i think it wold look good once they enabled the pixel shaders and bumped mapped the image.

it would then give it a nice neat look

Judging from the water I'd say the engine is already using pixel shaders. The fact is that those models are rather poor, and the textures as well. Just look at the trees and the ground, ugh.

I'm happy to see that they are basing this game on the original trilogy, though.

Ouch! My eyes hurts! The water does look god, though. But the trees, characters and ground needs some fixing.
