Just bought 5 console games for the price of one new PC game
If the PC game was on sale!
The games are: Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance II (PS2) Maximo vs Army of Zin (PS2) Syphon Filter (PS2) Mercenaries (Xbox) Conker: Live and Reloaded (Xbox) Cost me about 50 euro (that's cheap if you live in Norway). AND... I had the wifes BLESSING! Go figure... |

The price of "one new PC game" is also subjective. You could have been talking about Ni.Bi.Ru. when it was released new in the US. $20 which is a steal, I think.
Were those games you bought new or used?

They were all new, four of them were still wrapped in plastic and sealed. They don't sell used games there.
EDIT: and I believe Ni.Bi.Ru costs about 50 euro here in Norway, there's no difference between low-price releases here. Even the greatest hits version (or Platinum as they are called here) of PS2 games costs as much as a brand new PS2 game in the US. Usually around 35 euro. |

Low-cost games versus free health insurance?
Well, life isn't worth living if you can't afford to buy games, right?

Wrong. How the hell would I pay doctor if my thumbs get injured after using an Xbox controller for several hours non-stop?

Fair point. Or after beating my hand against the wall to get out my frustration when I get killed by the final boss in DOA4.

You'll start learning to play using your toes or your crotch. Start practicing now in fact, just in case!

Well in England we got free health care (not for long the way this shifty bitch-ass government is going) and on top of that i bought 'Oldboy' (it's a film granted) for a mere £7.99 in HMV, that's a bloody bargain!! I went in there expecting to be cashing out twenty big ones...

Glad to see you want Jade Empire, that game is by far the best thing i've played on the xbox, like an oriental Fable! However, if i was you i would save my money, xbox games are way too crap and don't last very long, money shouldn't be wasted on junk! I bought loads of xbox games one christmas when i first got it and had great fun for about half a year... SNES games are timeless
