Ummm... no. I started playing it, expecting another grand quest in the Zelda tradition, and found trash instead. I kept going on, looking for some small spark of "Zeldaesqueness", but after two hours of playing I couldn't stand it any more, so I stopped playing and got rid of it. I meant exactly what I said.

IMO, The Minish Cap is one of the best Zelda games. But if you didn`t like, you didn`t, it`s as easy as that. Although you should give it another chance and play a little more than a couple of hours. It has incredible depth.

The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass is getting ready to be released in Japan this Saturday.

Those lucky Japanese people, the US/European release is still months away, right?

I can't wait to get this game, Famitsu scored it 39/40.
Gametrailers.com has a few new trailers and tv spots about it.

Hey, dear people please buy my games, I need money to conquer Europe! Or do something similar.

Ooh, I had no idea the Japanese release was so soon. I guess we'll find out more about the localised release at E3.

IGN's preview based on the Japanese demo also sounds very positive, mainly towards the somewhat controversial decision to have all-stylus gameplay. Personally I love that they're doing it. There aren't enough games truly utilizing the touch screen.

Wow, those intros to the CD-i Zelda's are great! Now THAT's animation!

It's awesome. I thought I had to get better before being able to do animation in the professional world, but now I see am already wayyyy good enough to be put on consoles! Hurrah!

Gah! Lucky Japanese, why must we wait so long to get it?

Yeah, my friend who's in Japan right now, went and bought the game.

He tells me the control scheme is indeed brilliant, but he has some trouble understanding the texts as he isn't fluent on Japanese language yet...

That's pretty much what everyone has said thus far.

Are you sure? The last time I checked Amazon (not that I particularly trust them as a reliable source) they were quoting November 30th as the release date.

Well fuck it then, I'm importing the European release. It'll give me something to practice my French on come Fall semester.

Also, Advance Wars rules.

Yes Advance Wars does.

Do you really mean to practice french with it? Because 99.9% of european releases support english so long as your ds/lite is set up to use english (system settings) when you first pop in the cart.
