Drakes uncharted, not really into shooting games but I like the story behind it so I will keep going.

Why is it a waste of money if you want it?

Well, it is to a degree when i already own the game on the Sold-Out range. But... i don't know. Either way, even though i'd like to get the original boxed version, it's not something that's at the top of my list at the moment.

One possible good reason as well as liking the original version which i do too, is that the Sold Out version seems to have trouble loading on Vista. I was trying to help someone today get it to run and Vista would not even read the disk. nadda. The Sold Out Version. Blue Label.

Yeah, i had the same problem when i tried to install the double pack version on my dad's laptop (which was a waste of time anyway ). Right click on Setup and change the compatibility mode. That worked for me.

Had to buy a new Xbox after my old one conked out.

Got an Arcade model from Sainsbury's for ÂŁ99 and added the hard drive etc from my old model.

I'm going to send away and get the old one fixed and give it to my dad for Xmas.

Yup.
I scare easily and the demo alone made me jump a few times.
I owned Double Agent before, but I don't know why I sold it off in the first place. COD2 just because COD4 was freaking awesome and I've been yearning for something in the spirit of Wing Commander, hence Ace Combat 6.

Oh yes, Condemned's pretty jumpy alright.

I still mean to play the other Splinter Cell games. I've only done the first one, even though my lil' sis has the second one, so i should play through it at some point.
As for Call of Duty, i may get 4 at some stage. Tbh, i'm not all that fussed about WW2 FPS but i have to admit that it looks incredible. I read a very positive review at GameSpot and i've read the multiplayer's a load of fun.

Yeah, CoD4 NOT being WW2 is what I like about it most. I have no interest in the upcoming CoD because of its return to the WW2 theatre.

Oh. I thought CoD4 was set in WW2. I knew the others were. Either way i'm not that big on war FPS. I usually like my FPS to be different or have a horror theme.

It's set in modern day with all the equipment that follows. I've never ever played a FPS that made me feel as involved and vulnerable as COD4. The latter part was because I played on Veteran from the start. It took me a couple of hours to get through the single player campaign om Recruit as opposed to four weeks on Veteran. :-)
It's also a game that made me question the moral side of the events that pass in the game. Truly a masterpiece. It doesn't hurt that the multiplayer is more fun than I remember Counterstrike ever being. Only Halo 3 can compete with it in my opinion (multiplayer FPS that is).

Versailles I and II
Gothic II Gold
Jerusalem The Three Paths....sequel to Timescape: Journey to Pompeii

i like the Call of Duty WWII themed games except for one part of the Pacific War one that is set in Henderson Field, where you have to shoot down some Japanese planes, i have tried and tried and tried and gave up finally, even though i am very interested in the historic aspects of the series. That one spot is just too hard. sigh.
