Another one of my old faves, Hammerfist, C64.

I'm trying to remember a Megadrive/Genesis game I loved way back when. It was first person with green mutants in it, some kind of bio accident story.

Shouldn't this be a bit harder? Add some rules?

'Cos anyone can name obscure leftfield indie games.

Sure I can. And I hope I win, so I don't have to ship anything to the middle of Russia or some place like that.

What sort of rules? I don't believe in rules! Free love baby.

What are you worried about? You're winning anyway.

....erm how about Marko's Magic Footbal?
was a megadrive game about a kid who kicks his footbal in some radioactive puddle and then some plot thing happened that he had to do or save something by kicking his ball at stuff

I assume you mean "Marko's Magic Soccer Ball?"

Congrats, you are now leading.

oh was that what it was called in the US? I was starting to think it was a UK game since I could only find info on tha title and there was no mention of any others.

I remember it being fun but nostalgia could be clouding my judgement

Revengers of Vengeance - Sega CD

Probably the worst game I ever played.

Probably won't win the contest, but I thought I would give that game some pub.

Sex Games, obscure?
Everyone who´s ever owned a Commodore 64 knows about that game.

Gridiron. Bethesda Softworks' first game, and the first physics-based computer football (American) game.

Retrograde, C64. Brilliant shooter, but not so brilliant as the cute but odd Creatures. Or Creatures 2: Torture Trouble, which had you rescuing cute little things from complicated death trap puzzles! Although you always took pleasure in watching them die horribly.

Complicated torture.

Fuzzy death.

Awesome loading screen with cool music.

Incidentally, all by Thalamus, one of the best C64 developers there was.

The Gizmondo has some real classics, like:

Furious Phil: Dawn of the Mutants
It's Mr Pants
Momma Can I Mow the Lawn?

And of course, the fantastic...

How do even measure how obscure a game is? Just by mentioning it, it less obscure than before because all of us will at least know it's name...

Perhaps we should have a vote with the nominations and have everyone vote for the game they have never heard of?

Don't you worry. I'm using a highly flawed tool developed by NASA (or not) that determines obscurity. I'll post the top three tonight when I reveal the winner.
