Obviously they've never seen a real chest opened for surgery! Where's the sternum, and what's holding the ribs apart? Not very bloody, either. I hope that this person is not supposed to be alive - can't breathe with the lungs exposed and an open chest.

Quake 4.

There's another scene in Quake 4 where you watch yourself get cut the **** up.

The game has a lot of stuff that's even more sick than that.

Those Strogg sure are nice people.

Yessir I do. There's the ultra setting, which I can run until a lot of stuff starts happening, so I just use high.

Commando Lybia.

Oh, and the theme song of Cannon Fodder (Amiga) with digitized speech...
War has never been so much fun. Catchy as hell. Ok, that was actually pretty hilarious and very British. Stil. A classic.

Just got past that bit in Quake 4.

Spoiler:
The bit before it where you're strapped onto the conveyor belt watching your own body being ripped apart is pretty nasty alright, especially watching it all happen to the guy in front first!

I think my sickest moment would prob be from Silent Hill 2

Spoiler:
Pyramid Head molesting a twitching corpse while you watch in silent horror from a closet

Although stuff like Phantasmagoria had plenty of nice decapitations, heads being ripped apart, limbs torn off etc.

I liked the bit in Wing Commander IV where the doctor shows the body to Blair of the effect of the Bio Weapons. That was so cool.

I don't play many horror games or anything, so this is nothing particularly exciting, but I will say that Ravenholm in Half-Life 2 was nice and creepy. Burning, infested city, littered with torn-up corpses and soaked in blood, and then there's you, charging in with your gravity gun, mowing down reanimated dead with rusty sawblades... not an ideal vacation spot.

The latest Mortal Kombat game, Shaolin Monks, has its own share of particularly gruesome sights, mostly in the form of fatalities. For example, Kung Lao spinning his razor-sharp hat at high-speed on the ground and pulling his enemy across it like a buzz-saw, right between the legs -- disgusting, yet totally awesome.

the best part in a game is when

Spoiler:
You dragon punch a final blow on your best friend in Street Fighter 2 and all you got left is a measly centimetre of life left.

Not much of a spoiler but too special to be let loose!

Maybe it's because they're capitalists.

Carmageddon. The constant killing spree is amusing, if really rather sick.

I ought to grab Manhunt at some point.

The one part in SH2 when you're walking through those narrow tunnels in that dungeon place, and Pyramid Head is just randomly marching about...that is tense.

The pit in the chronicles of Riddick was kinda creepy. You have a gun with a broken flashlight which will fail in 5 minutes, and you are in this dark maze, looking for a wheel to open the gate to safety, while creepy creatures are charging you.
