Well there was the Texture Pack, but no mission mods that I know of.

A quick check of the ttlg forums suggests there are a few fan missions out there. If you scroll down, you'll find a link to the 'Thief Fan Missions' discussion board - this includes T1 & 2 as well, but there seem to be at least a few released for Deadly Shadows (can't comment on any, as I haven't played them).

If you're interested in replaying the game with a Thief 1/2 feel, there's the Minimalist Mod (this also adds different difficulty levels which require you to kill a certain number of people, stipulate a time limit for the missions, or limit the number of people you blackjack etc). Really good mod.

The Dark Mod for Doom3 looks interesting but I don't know how that's progressing.

I vaguely remember the fans getting their panties in a bunch because they were not going to release a level editor.

Then Ion Storm went under.

I think someone must have made one after all.

Yeah, Eidos eventually released it (I think some ex-Ion Storm employees worked on it in their free time).

Indeed, an editor was released quite recently, but I do not know if it has been used much yet.

Although it's still well worth reading the ttlg forums for discussion on the fan missions, here's a better link than the one I posted above:

http://www.thiefmissions.com/search.cgi?search=%2Bgame%3Dt3&sort=release#m

Seems there have been four Deadly Shadows fan missions released in the last few weeks.

I don't know if the downloads work, as the site seems to be taking issue with my download manager. I'm not too bothered though, as I'm all Thiefed out at the moment - might look into it again a few weeks down the track.

Aaaah....Thief 3. Yet another title I never got a chance to play thanks to my obsolete machine and the real world.

Then again...I never finished the second game thanks to frustration and lack of patience. The first one took me months and months as well.

So many games from the past three years I'll have to buy one day...

Thanks a lot....life.

Thief: Deadly Shadows is much, much easier than Thief 2: The Metal Age. Honest!
