I predict that this game will get great reviews, but people won't buy it.
Hmmmm. This just feels like one of those games.

Sims sells more than to little girls. I am broke buying Sims 2 expansion packs to my 20 something girlfriend, everytime one comes out.(and that's like very frequently)

I predict that this game will get great reviews, and that people will buy it, but that it will actually be crazily limited in some hitherto unannounced manner, and will thus prevent people from actually designing the movies that they want to.

I'm a cynic.

I predict the game will get moderate reviews, a lot of people will buy it and it will end up giving you not quite as much freedom as Molineux would want you to believe.

The game sounds like one of the TS1 expansion packs: Superstar.

It's about damn time! I remember when I first read something about this game, I was still in high school. But I won't hold my breath, Peter is a big fat liar!

There's a final hands-on preview up at Gamespot that's extremely positive.

And, as we discovered from our time with The Movies, this is a game that offers something for pretty much everyone, and it is one of the most promising PC games of the year.
