Did you guys see this? Most users was Sunday evening - 430? sheesh! and there wasn't even anything going on! Could some of those have been those Googlebots or something like that?

It's this pain in the ass search indexer that's WAY too agressive. Plus, their website is password-protected, so there are no guarantees that it's even a legitimate search site.

Well, Jetbot's been banned in our robots.txt file for a few months now. Best guess for this time is Googlebot. If you think about it, spidering all the links on this forum means that you're grabbing a LOT of pages.

The trouble is, vBulletin doesn't provide a mechanism for excluding robots from the max user count.
