Default Two Small Requests

Dear Adventure Gamers,
In future, would it be possible to note in reviews what platforms the games reviewed are available for? Many are PC-only, some are PC or Mac on the same disk, and still other games are available for Macs but require Mac-specific versions.
Also, more "Flashback Friday" reviews, please. The "Zork-Nemesis" review mirrored my own impressions of that game almost exactly. I buy the majority of my games used at thrift stores, and would like to know beforehand if a prospective purchase is a bargain at $5-$10, or is overpriced at 99 cents.

Thank you so much for your help,
Thrift Store Scott

Welcome to the forum! I'm a thrift store junkie too.

Mentioning the platforms is a good idea... if known. Often Mac ports come out a few months after a PC release and by then the review has already come and gone.

That's a very good suggestion. It's certainly something we should think about doing.

Also, I'm glad you liked my Nemesis review.

Welcome, TS Scott.

Rest assured that there will be plenty more Flashback Friday reviews in future. Glad you find them useful.

Don't be shy about using the AG forums to ask opinions about games, too. If there's one thing AGers have plenty of, it's opinions.

That and the ability to take a new topic completely off-topic within three posts.

Hey, didn't you mean ..."within five posts"

The bet is within one post - tension mounts around the forums...can she do it and set the record?! *grabs good seat to watch history made*

Well, having gone totally offtrack in the Keepsake thread, I think I'll confine myself here to saying that I really really like Flashback Fridays. Maybe they don't even have to be Friday, they could be like, Memory (Lane?) Monday, Total Recall Tuesday, etc. (Or, we could just forget about alliterative day/amnesia combos.) Anyway, I like them, and it's especially nice to read a review that comments on a game from today's perspective rather than an archived review from 1997 gushing about how great the graphics are back in the stone age . . .

Me too - I like looking at older games and seeing how well they hold up.

I like the days, but you left out Wacky Wednesdays and Sassy Sundays.
