Default Lights Out review

Nice review. People have been asking about this game on the forums, so I'm glad we'll have a review to refer them to now.

I haven't played either game yet (I have the TAC release of the first game on my shelf) but I did know the history behind the first game and am so happy for Jonathan that he's found commercial success. I wonder how much of the game's direction was influenced by TAC this time around, or if Jonathan had free reign to do as he wanted like he did with the first game?

Do others who have played both agree with Dan that the first game is better?

Yeah, I like the first game more. But that's mostly because I thought that the first game was really awesome and was suprised by how scary it was. Dark Fall 2 is still a good game, if you liked DF 1 you'll probably like DF2.

So far, I like both fairly equally. I do think the first one had a scarier atmosphere, though. I wonder, if he made a third one, which game it would feel/play more like? In any event, I'm enjoying the ambience almost as much as I enjoyed the creepy museum in the first Shivers , and I LOVED that game!
