Sherlock Holmes Week
Either I got my memory erased (yup, just've seen Eternal Sunshine...) or the start of SH Week announced at the main site has just moved seven days forward. For playing with readers' expectations , you must reveal what goodies are you planning for this special event.
So go on, staff, spill the beans... please.

I was wondering when someone would ask.
Just kidding. Yes, we did move the week back seven days due to some postal problems. Not the first time. One shudders to think how many of our review copies are somewhere in the Atlantic Ocean. But as far as what we're planning: - A review of the game by our own JackAl-lin - A contest with some REALLY cool exclusive prizes - A forum chat with the developer - A whole heap of new screenshots It's going to be really, really neat.

Now this is not the right time to be joking around RLacey, you hear me?
If i'm not allowed to participate in contest just because i'm a forum moderator, then i'll quit this instant! Naaah.

Well, we do have a quite disconcerting concentration of North American reviewers right now...something I'm hoping to remedy in the future...in most cases, though, we really do put thought into who to assign to various reviews...there's a lot of factors.

Actually, we only fight over who gets stuck doing the crappy games.
Spoiler: BTW, the secret date change was just a ruse to get you in the mood for "Sherlock" week. Nice sleuthing, AFGNCAAP!! You win...absolutely nothing. P.S. If it's any consolation, the US often forgets Canada is part of North America, so we're kinda honourary Europeans. |

Well, I am American and I went to Montreal and Quebec City once for a vacation. Had one of the very best martinis ever in the Hotel Frontinac in Quebec City.

Maybe you want to get in mood for the Sherlock Holmes week with this interview? It also gives a pretty interesting glimpse at Frogwares' next game "Around the World in 80 Days", sado maso and stuff
