Default Invasion Of The Spam!

As mod I feel like I'm playing a game of 'Whack-a-Mole' with this sudden rash of spam posts. Unfortunately I'm not lurking in the forums 24/7 like I used to, so if anyone spots a spam let me or the other mods know and we'll whack them. Admins, what's the possibility of banning these new 'members'?

I can, but there's not a lot of point. These are people, not spambots, the image verification thing sees to that. They don't usually bother to come back. In any case, I notified his ISP. It's a larger national ISP, so I doubt we'll have the same success we did with the chain letter guy in Missouri.

Just think of how a Spam army would invade. Slithering along, leaving a sticky trail of animal byproducts in their paths....

I can just hear the thuds of the invading spam as it plops down on the rooftops... and the oogy brown trail it would leave as it slid down the windows...

Er... everyone's doing a great job with the spam invasion! Keep it up!

Using their enlarged manhoods and sacks of money from Nigerian princes as clubs, they will beat you down before they finish you off by force-feeding you questionable pharmaceuticals.

P.S. "Questionable Pharmaceuticals" would be an excellent name for a rock band.

I think this is becoming very frequent...
Some of the webcomic forums I visit have spam too...
And to think I was once so desperate to get a job that spamming was starting to look good....
Oddly enough the only spam I get is from forums or yahoo groups and stuff like that...

I just wanted to explain why i'm negleckting my duty as a moderator. The thing is, i'm in Serbia at the moment, and my only way of reaching the net is through very poor dial up line. It's a wonder i was able to write this much, without connection breaking on me. I'll be back by august 8th.

Serbian dial-up from six years ago is barely passable... I don't know if they've done anything on that front since...

The answer is no, ofcourse But you wouldn't believe it, they're installing cable in major cities, like Belgrade and Kragujevac, but i'm in Cacak, so no cable for another year or 100

Teehee, that's probably exactly how I would've said telephone exchange in my own made up, 'fake Russian' language.
