Wow! Those are from way back
Copyright vs Fandom, 2D vs 3D, etc. - never heard of those on the AGamers of today... |

Wow, good job ChaosFish. AG still seems to have a lot of articles missing, so I'm sure they'll really appreciate these.

I do have most of the stuff from that period archived on CDs. We chose to not republish a lot of articles from before 2000 as they're not very well written. However, we might bring back a few updated versions of those old reviews.

Yes, we're very aware of all the articles we formerly had that are no longer on the site, and generally have good reasons for them. We have plans to bring some of these back; most of them will not return.

Why not upload the last avaliable version of the old site to some subdomain like http://old.adventuregamers.com or something; because there is some very interesting content there. Although it may not be up to the standards you set yourselves now, there are some interesting bits there, such as this Discworld Noir interview:

That sort of stuff is just interesting in a nostalgic way. I doubt it'd be a major traffic drawing part of the site; but it is sad to let some of this stuff disappear on some archived cds. Just an idea anyway

Yes, it's truely one of those "if only" moments. If only they hadn't had problems with psygnosis; if only they'd released a patch, if only... *sigh* A slight depressing yet intriguing read.
Anyway, I still think an old adventure gamers sub site is a good site (a whole 4hrs later; so it must be a good idea hehe). I just remembered another site does a similar thing but I probably shouldn't mention their name (woof woof).
