Default Developer's Chats

Will we be having any developer's chats any time soon?

Hopefully. There's a big one in the works.

Actually, I'd rather not, in case they need to back out for some reason. I wouldn't want to get people's hopes up and disappoint them. I did give a clue, though: big.

No, Bad Brain picked up the rights to Project Jane-J.

Seriously, though, wouldn't it be too early for a chat with Funcom? All the previous ones were being held shortly before the actual release, which is not that soon in case of Dreamfall. Let them focus on finishing the game instead.

Who qualifies then: Quantic Dream? Cyan? Telltale? (I would add Agatha Christie game's Lee Sheldon + AWE team, but I'm afraid I am one of the few people who care about it, so arguably it's not that "big").

Yes, too early for Funcom. And bigger than AWE. 'Sall I'm sayin'.

What the heck are you doing booking all-day train trips during dev chat season?

That really is a shame. If it's any consolation (it won't be), the date wasn't finalized until very recently, so we weren't holding back. Honest.

If you'd like, feel free to leave your questions with me and I'll ask on your behalf. You know I only ask the polite, safe questions.

Jackal - thanks for the developer's chat with David Cage - that was indeed worth the wait! Good job!

I'd like to say you're welcome, but I deserve the least credit of anyone involved. Laura, Doug, and the Quantic guys are the stars here.

But I'm still glad everyone enjoyed it.
