It was a good series. Seeing Ross in a war setting made it all worth while.

it's a very honest war mini-series. one of my favourites.
drama oriented, story was great. not so much action... but the effects featured in it were outstanding. my favourite scene (which i put on from time to time if i'm bored) is when the C-47s are approaching the Normandy coast to deploy the airborne divisions. they show one that gets hit by flak and they follow it right into the ground. looked incredible. i'm a fan of the WWII movies. many of the films that have been made recently have great effects, but unfortunately have a weak story (hell, that can apply to most recent films in general). |

Great series. I really enjoyed watching it. And I think most everyone wants to avoid fighting in a war. Especially now.
