^Curses himself, for he created Barney's "I love you" song, and has not yet been able to get it out of his head (hence his avatar).

^ If the man in the picture had black hair and no beard, he'd bear a striking resemblance to her father. Perhaps they're long-lost twins?

^Might or might not know what a merkin is, or why one might require eye glasses.

^definitely is the looney empress of the world.
Jaz, now I know what a merkin is. I wish I didn´t. What´s with the glasses? Has it got anything to do with the movie. I´m bewildered. |

Which movie? No, I was just reading the alt.fan.pratchett archives (the timeline to be exact), and came across the first mention of the merkin. I've read the archives before, but it still makes me laugh so hard that I have to stand up and walk away from the screen for a while, in order to avoid dying of laughter. You can read it here. The entries first mentioning the merkin are below the heading "23 Mar 1992". It's quite early in the timeline. I highly recommend reading those archives, they are hilarious, even if you are not familiar with Terry Pratchett and his "Discworld" novels. My favourites still have to be the thread on "Haggis Hunting" and the discussion about Jehova's Innocent Bystanders/Jehova's Investigators. -
