Food or sex?

So once I was talking with my now ex-girlfriend and we came to the question of what we'd rather give up if we had to choose, food or sex (in case we didn't need food to survive, of course).

So, what would you rather give up?

By sex I mean all kinds of sexual behavior, including masturbation, and food encompases everything you digest, except for beverages. Okay, for those sickos who are left wondering, sperm does not count as food, all right?

There are separate choices for male and female members cause, as we all know, girls and boys don't experience sex in exactly the same way. Besides, all the girls I asked so far, except for one, said they'd definitely give up food and all the boys (reluctantly) opted for sex.

I can live without sex, I can't live without food, or I'd die. Actually physically die. I might go crazy, but I'd still be alive the other way.

Kind of a flawed question.

Damn! I didn't see the give up part, I thought I was supposed to vote for what I liked best.

EDIT: In fact, I did exactly the same thing as SJH, I saw food or sex, and a bunch of other words.
I guess it tells something about human nature...

I think it's a dumb binary excercise taken that way. Of COURSE you would starve if you gave up food.

What insane_cobra meant was the enjoyability, tactility, and sensuality of each choice. It would have made more sense if he had asked: Which would you give up? The pleasure of food or the pleasure of sex?

Eating can make you feel ill. Having sex has never made me feel ill, morally or physically. Actually, eating is the best when the only thing you eat is a few vegetables and you are still hungry afterwards...
