Even though I love opera, I've never been a Wagner fan. I can take Tristan and Isolde but the Ring cycle leaves me cold. But give me Verdi and and Mozart and I will be your bitch.

But then again, he did write that opera that causes wearwolves to transform so he might not be that bad, I guess.

That was one of the very, very best cartoons ever. Years ahead of its time - who'd have thought performing opera in drag to be part of pop American culture during the neurotic, homophobic 40s and 50s?
