Default ASCII rock !

I'm familiar with ASCII art ...but this is ridiculous.
Someone has done a similar thing with DVD movies and Quake.
And then, of course,comes the million-dollar question.Why?

I believe this process could be automatised (sp?). I seem to remember a program from years ago that could convert GIF's to ASCII.

Yeah, it's more just a matter of plugging in an existing movie file (or the frames) to a program that spits out one of these. Not really much work.

They all seem to be crappy synthesized versions of the songs anyway. Not worth the downloads.

there is a special library for linux called aalib which does exactly that: making ascii art from graphics. It's got a very cool de mo showing his powers called bb, if you got access to linux, try to watch it sometime

I (sp?) kind of agree that it's (sp?) stupid. But from now I'll use it (sp?) even more just to (sp?) annoy you (sp?).

It's funny to run the CrystalSpace 3D engine in ascii-mode.
