Default Controversy

Grrrr.

EDIT: And again, I forgot to add a time limit to this poll. *sigh* If a mod could make it expire in ten days, I would be very grateful.

Tbh mate, I could not get it to install, no matter what I did. When I ran the install it said there was no room on my chosen drive/partition. Even when I tried to install it to the default directory, it STILL said no room??!!

Theres loads of room I tell ya! LOOOOAAAADDDDSSSSSSS.......ahem....sorry. BS2 however, worked flawlessly.

BS1 install procedure is just ghey tbh...

Exactly - there's too much room. You have to fill up your hard drive some. I think Revolution's website has more info about this.

Seems a bit odd though.

I really don't understand this - I replayed both BS games on my XP machine after playing them on my old 98 pc and had no problems?

You also have to remember, that ScummVM supports the "SoldOut" edition of the Broken Sword games. It is not guaranteed that the first editions work properly.

What's the difference between the SoldOut version and the original?

SoldOut is the budget version. I've got that too. Works okay on XP if u put the compatibility on Windows 95 when installing. After that normal compatibility is fine.

Now what is this topic about?

Maybe I'm missing some piece of information here... but why is this thread entitled "Controversy"? As far as I know, ScummVM is the only emulator that plays SCUMM games. The only good one, at least. This is some kind of trick poll question, right?

That's Deadworm's way of saying: Stop using SCUMM instead of SCUMMVM, you morons!
