Sometimes when the snow is falling and I'm outside delivering mail etc., I just stop and watch for a moment as these magnificent small wonders slowly fall everywhere around me.

Yep, I love the snow. It helps that we currently have loads in Munich and it's due to carry on for the foreseable future.

Man, I considered myself lucky to have escaped Europe before uber-winter set in, but now I see what I've been missing!

Seattle rarely has a real winter.

Kolzig, you are so lucky to live somewhere that actually gets decent snow fall.

No such thing in the UK any more. That said we have been getting warnings for very heavy, prolonged snowfall from Sunday night.

Will believe it when I see it

I thought you usually get a decent snowfall in Yorkshire? Not like here in Lancaster where we hardly ever get snow due to that bastard salt air (as we are so close to the sea!)

I hate snow! I'm too old to be making a snowman, I don't ski, and I'm the only one in my family who shovels the damn thing in front of the house!
