Commercials on the SuperBowl
Well the pats won like I knew they would, go Pats Dynasty! But the commercials were also good. My favorite was the first Bud commercial where the guy throws the Bud Light out of the plane and the pilot jumped out after it. That had my and my friends laughing for a long time. I googled it and found it was online at http://www.budweiser.com/1 and watched it a couple times today. Soo funny. Anyone else like it?

Well, Caroline, it certainly isn't the egos that are normal sized!
No, the Super Bowl winner is the World champion (of the United States, that is), of American football. FGM

digitalscience, you'll find very few people on this forum who would say they were even interested in the Super Bowl. It is so very politically incorrect. Yours is the first one that has mentioned the extroardinary achievement of the Patriots. Just as last year and the 2001 season, I've relished the expertise of this team, an AFL original franchise launched as the Boston Patriots in 1960. Perenially ignored, especially in comparison to the most overhyped team and fans of any sport and time, the Red Sox. Even fov from Boston finds no joy in the Pats.

I'm afraid rooting for the Sox won't be as much fun anymore not that they've won in this generation.

Sox let Pedro walk and sign with my team, the Mets, the upcoming season will mark the beginning of a new curse, the Curse of Pedro. Another 86 years of misery anybody? Of course, as with Babe, the curse will work in reverse for the recipient team, so the Mets are likely to become the most successful team of this century. |

I have been to many an Oakland game, when the Sox are in town. I'm usually somewhat surprised to get out of there alive... |
